I saw this posted on pinterest but it had no pattern. It looked pretty simple, so I wrote my own pattern for it to share with you.. I altered it quite a bit to make it larger, then I put it in an embroidery hoop to add as a little décor for my daughters' pegboard.
Special stitches: tr3tog: *yo twice, insert hook into next st, yo, pull up, (yo, draw through 2 loops) twice, repeat from * two more times, yo, draw through all loops on hook
tr2tog: *yo twice, insert hook into next st, yo, pull up a loop, (yo, draw through 2 lo(ps) twice, repeat from * one more time, yo, draw through all loops on hook
dc3tog: (yo, insert hook in next st, yo and pull up loop, yarn over, draw through 2 loops] 3 times (4 loops on hook), yo, draw through all loops on hook
dc2tog: (Yo, insert hook in next stitch, yo and pull up loop, yo, draw through 2 loops] 2 times, yo, draw through all loops on hook
Hook size: H or G depending on how you like it, I have used both.
Yarn: Worsted I used I love this cotton from Hobby Lobby
Round 1: Magic circle chain 2 dc 11 in circle, join with sl st to ch2. (12) close circle tight
Round 2: ch4 tr2tog, ch3, (tr3tog, ch3) *repeat to first ch4* join to ch4
Round 3: ch1, sl st over to space, ch2 in same space d2tog, ch3, d3tog, ch3 working in spaces (dc3tog, ch3, dc3tog, ch3) *repeat around to ch2* join to ch2
Round 4-6: sl st to space sl again to get to middle of space, (ch5 sl st to next space) *repeat around* sl st to first space and join.
Round 7: ch1, sc, 7hdc in first space, in next space (sc, 7hdc) *repeat to first sc and join*
